We’re excited to announce that we’re having a grand opening party to celebrate the completion of our newest (and largest) amenity: Maple Leaf Pond! This amazing amenity has so much to offer for our community members, and we can’t wait to show it off with a fabulous party! Everyone is welcome to join us as we celebrate all this fabulous amenity has to offer.

Maple Leaf Pond Grand Opening

The event is going to be hosted at Maple Leaf Pond! Drive down Ad Astra Boulevard to the large, maple leaf entrance feature, you’ll find us there! Maple Leaf Pond is in the heart of Griesbach, you can’t miss it!

Join us September 9th, 2023 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm for tons of food, fun, and freebies!

All pre-registration tickets have been sold, so we can’t guarantee food tickets after this point. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the activities regardless of pre-registering!

What Activities Will There Be?

There’s going to be so much to enjoy at the Maple Leaf Pond Grand Opening! At this event we’re going to have a wide variety of family-friendly activities everyone will love!

There’s going to be TWO bouncy castles, an obstacle course for older kids and a bounce house for younger kids. Throughout the afternoon we’ll have roaming characters join us at Maple Leaf Pond, there will be a princess and a superhero who will be available for photo ops, plus our princess will have two sing alongs and our superhero will facilitate hero lessons throughout the afternoon! Around Maple Leaf Pond we’ll also have a balloon twister and face painters. Every activity at the Maple Leaf Pond Grand Opening is completely free to enjoy!

Nothing Says It’s a Party Like Delicious Food!

At our event we’re going to have Fat Franks cater with some of their delicious hot dogs and veggie dogs, we’ll have snacks like pop, chips, cookies, and more! PLUS, there will be a surprise dessert at our event! What’s your favourite food truck dessert?

Giveaways Galore at Maple Leaf Pond

Another exciting part of our event is we’re giving away tons of freebies and prizes! We’ll have Griesbach flyers, reusable tote bags, temporary tattoos, and more! You can also enter to win gift card giveaways by posting your photos of the event online and tagging us at @villageatgriesbach! We’ll be doing social media draws for great, local prizes throughout the day!
