Le Village à Griesbach est prêt à s’agrandir. Encore une fois! Notre collectivité primée entre dans sa dernière phase avec 63 hectares (155 acres) de nouveaux aménagements.
Le Coin nord-est
Le Village à Griesbach se transforme en une collectivité urbaine où les habitants de tous âges et de tous horizons peuvent se sentir chez eux. Ce projet constitue une occasion rare de construire à proximité d’un quartier qui occupe une place de choix au cœur d’Edmonton depuis les années 1950. Aménagé le long des rues bordées d’arbres emblématiques de Griesbach, le Coin nord-est mêlera l’ancien et le nouveau, véritable trait d’union entre le passé et l’avenir, par :
- les différentes options et différents styles de logements, les parcs, les grands espaces ainsi que les aires communautaires et commodités;
- l’aménagement d’un quartier durable et innovant qui se développera pour de nombreuses générations à venir;
- le sentiment de sécurité que procure un village, associé aux commodités et à l’accessibilité qu’offre la vie urbaine;
- les paysages matures du secteur qui se marient aux styles architecturaux intemporels;

GRIESBACH EN CROISSANCE – FAQ
La Société immobilière du Canada est en train de préparer les travaux de démolition et de procéder à la planification initiale, au lotissement et au zonage. Le projet d’aménagement devrait débuter en 2025.

[h2] Mt. Fuji Japanese Cuisine
Looking for your next sushi fix? Mt. Fuji Japanese Cuisine has been one of Edmonton’s most highly recommended Japanese restaurants since 1999, though they only recently moved to Griesbach in 2017. So, what is it that makes people keep coming back for more? According to their website, it’s their super-secret sesame sauce!
Mt. Fuji serves a large variety of dishes, such as sushi, sashimi, maki, tempura, bento boxes, and udon. The bento boxes are especially popular as a quick lunch option. A big point of pride for the restaurant is being able to serve dishes quickly and without compromising on the quality of the food. Great Japanese food at an affordable price—what more could you ask for?

Want to have a unique café experience in Edmonton? Mokha Coffee House is the first Yemeni café in Canada, which recently opened this past spring! Mokha is already beloved by Griesbach residents as a place to hang out and relax in the community. The café is spacious with its airy open concept design, two floors of seating, and an outdoor patio. You’ll find beautiful archways and Arabic scripture used in the interior design, celebrating its Middle Eastern heritage.
Mokha offers all the typical speciality coffee drinks we know and love, like lattes, cappuccinos, cold brew, fresh mojitos, and more. But where Mokha stands out from the big-name coffee chains is with their traditional Yemeni and Arabian brews and teas Adani, Mofawar, Qishr, and Sanani. They also have a variety of pastries and desserts, like croissants and cheesecake, as well as traditional Middle Eastern dishes like baklava and honey comb buns.
Mokha Coffee House is the perfect haunt for all the night owls out there, because the cafe stays open until midnight. Be sure to add this new café to your must-visit lists!

Craving authentic Indian food? Butter Chicken & More promises to bring a taste of India to your taste buds. Led by Executive Chef Deependra Singh, the restaurant offers a menu that masterfully blends traditional Indian dishes with a modern twist. From classics like samosas and chicken tikka masala, to fusion pizzas with butter chicken and paneer, to unique vegan and gluten-free options, there’s something here for everyone.

Open late on weekends, Eat ‘n Dip is there for you when you’re busy or don’t feel like cooking at the end of a long week. No matter which way you order, they provide healthy and flavourful meals perfect for dining in, on-the-go, or relaxing at home.

This local boba shop rebranded from Chatime Griesbach to OCHA + BOBA back in 2022, thanks to the community’s tremendous support in shopping local. Their menu contains all your typical bubble tea favourites—milk teas, fresh teas, smoothies, fruit slushes, and plenty of delicious toppings like pearls, jellies, and pudding. They also offer seasonal menu items like sakura in spring or watermelon in summer, as well as desserts like cheesecake.
In addition to delicious drinks, OCHA + BOBA sells branded merch, like reusable drinkware, shirts, and totes, as well as limited time offerings, like keychains, plushes, and more. Next time you take a walk around the neighbourhood, don’t forget to stop in for a little treat at OCHA.

Scoop n Roll Creamery is Canada’s first rolled ice cream shop, bringing the exciting Thai tradition of "Tim Pad" (fried ice cream) to Edmonton in 2015. Founded by entrepreneur Nader Rafeh, they’ve since expanded to multiple store fronts and seasonal food trucks throughout the city.
Using fresh ingredients consisting of liquid ice cream, your choice of fruits, nuts, and premiums toppings, the ice cream is rolled right in front of you. Along with regular dairy options, there are vegan flavours available, so no one needs to miss out on this tasty treat.
Scoop n Roll is both a visual experience as well as a delicious one. Stop by year-round for this sweet treat—summer may be over, but ice cream is forever.

Parama Café has a warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of natural light, which makes it an ideal spot for catching up or simply unwinding. They also have a patio where you can sit and enjoy your coffee in the warmer months.
Parama Café also closes at midnight, so it’s an ideal spot for those looking for a cozy place to wind down or have an evening study session in Griesbach.

Not sure what you’re craving tonight? Laziza Restaurant offers a wide variety of choices, such as donairs, shawarma, burgers, calzones, pizza, and more to satisfy any craving. Some of their most popular dishes are the Baba Ghanouj, Jumbo Donair, and Spicy Laziza Pizza.
With its extensive menu offerings and friendly customer service, Laziza stands out as a favourite local eatery among residents of Griesbach.
